Founder, Inan Isik grew up with four sisters and a brother, in a small Kurdish village in the Eastern part of Turkey, before moving to bustling Istanbul when she was two and half. It was in Istanbul in her early 20s she started working with and specialising herself within fabrics. Her 17 year long career working in textile production and development has meant she has travelled across the globe as well as having lived in India, China and Denmark and worked for brands such as Inditex, Bestseller, Suit and Ganni.
But something was always missing a certain je ne sais quoi. Inan therefore decided it was time to start her own brand, Inan Isik, which focused on her passions. From one day to another aged 35 Inan started working from her apartment in Amaliegade, Copenhagen on her own small luxurious silk collection for women who dress a European size 44-54.
